It is So Easy to Go Vegan!
You were already eating vegan and you did not even know it!
Do you want to go vegan? Making the leap from the Standard American Diet or even vegetarianism may seem less like it is over a puddle and more like the ocean. Fear not! There are mainstream foods that you are eating already that can make transition seamless. This list is not the mecca of vegan foods but rather a handful of simple suggestions that will most likely be in the cupboard already. You may not even have to step out of your house to find some of these items.
Breakfast

- jams (no gelatin)

- soups (some)

Some of the more processed of these items may be 99.9 percent vegan having trace amounts of animal by-products. While this is frustrating, it is important to remember that the purchases that each individual makes is his or her buying-power and these products are a step in the right direction. A great rule is to always check the ingredient list. Being a savvy food inspector is a skill that you will become a master at over time.
