Matcha Oatmeal

  • 1 tsp matcha green tea powder
  • 50g oatmeal
  • 1 ½ cups milk (rice, coconut, almond or water if you prefer)
  • Vegan honey to taste
  • Toppings of your choice (walnuts, cashew nuts, chia seeds, flax seeds, cranberries, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, banana, pomegranate)
  1. Place milk or water, oats, matcha powder and honey or maple syrup into a saucepan and let it simmer while stirring the entire time.
  2. Within several minutes, it will become thicker. This is when you move it off the heat.
  3. Serve with a mixture of fruit, nuts and seeds to create healthy and delicious matcha oatmeal.
