Besides conditioning your hair, it can help moisturize your scalp, fight dandruff and promote new hair follicles. It can also help reduce a buildup of sebum to combat greasy hair. Avocado
Chock full of vitamins, minerals, protein and antioxidants, avocado is the perfect fruit to infuse your strands with healthy goodness. It can help boost your natural shine, restore weak, damaged hair and protect against environmental damage.
Its natural oils are very effective in penetrating hair cuticles to provide a deep moisturization, and its fatty acid content is easily absorbed into your scalp and hair shafts.
Banana
Bananas are a great source of potassium, folate, and vitamins B6 and C which help add strength and volume. Using them in a hair mask can repair dry, sun-damaged strands, and protects their natural elasticity to prevent breakage and split ends.
Massaging it into your scalp helps remove dead skin cells to promote a healthier scalp and unblock clogged follicles. This, in turn, can encourage new hair growth and reduce issues with hair loss.
Coconut Milk
As well as making your hair smell wonderfully exotic, coconut milk can be very beneficial for your strands. It contains a large range of B vitamins, as well as iron, selenium, calcium, sodium, magnesium, phosphorous and healthy saturated fatty acids.
It has excellent moisturizing properties, helps soothe irritated skin, reduces greasiness and restores dry, brittle hair.
Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is a great way to naturally nourish your hair and scalp. It contains medium chain fatty acids which penetrate hair faster and more deeply than other conditioners. You can use it to repair split ends, add moisture, detangle and reduce frizz.
It also works as a natural sunscreen to protect your hair from harmful UV rays and contains lauric acid to strengthen hair and improve new hair growth.
Olive Oil
Olive oil is rich in antioxidants, vitamin A and vitamin E and helps strengthen your locks and prevent breakages. It helps add moisture and weight to all hair types, reduces frizz and leaves your hair feeling extra soft and pliable.
Olive oil can also help remove a buildup of sebum to promote new hair follicles and promote a healthier growth. Once you throw all of these ingredients in a blender (or ninja blender), your hair is in good hands.
